We have collected answers to the most common questions people have when using our service. This section will be updated regularly to make it as useful and understandable as possible.
How does your service work?
We have automated the process of tracking official firmware updates for Xiaomi, REDMI and POCO smartphones, tablets and routers.
Our crawlers automatically scan official sources, allowing us to publish links to new firmware versions and updates as quickly as possible.
The update has arrived on my device, but the link on your site is not there. Why is that?
We only post links to existing files. When an update “arrives”, it’s usually an over-the-air (OTA) patch that is downloaded directly to the device.
OTA-updates are not immediately available for direct download from the servers – they are only released to the public when the Recovery ROM is released.
Until Xiaomi developers upload the file, you can’t post a link to it.
How is the Fastboot ROM release different from other updates?
Fastboot ROM is a separate type of firmware and its release is not related to OTA or Recovery ROM. In some cases, Fastboot files appear on official servers with a delay – from a few days to a few months. This is Xiaomi’s normal practice.
That’s why the release date of the Fastboot ROM on the website is the actual date the firmware was created, not the date it was uploaded to the server – we extract this information directly from the file content.
Why has the update date on the page changed, but I don’t see anything new?
As mentioned above, the Fastboot ROM is added with the firmware release date, not the actual date it appears on Xiaomi’s servers. If there is a long delay between the dates, you may not see anything new, but the update date will change.
Is it really the original firmware?
Yes, it is. All links provided on our website are to unmodified official files. We do not modify the firmware, tamper with the contents of the archives or manipulate the links. This ensures that you get a clean and safe firmware version without any third party software.
