The new HyperOS 3 update is not necessarily the best. Before updating POCO F8 Ultra (myron), read reviews on XDA Developers or the Mi Community forum. If installing full ROM or the new OTA update caused issues, please let us know in the comments and mention the firmware region and version number.

how do I launch desktop mode on Poco F8 Ultra?
My Poco F8 Ultra is still running the security patch level from July 1st. It looks like Xiaomi is not taking security seriously at all!

Price 588€: top, system performance: top, problems so far: none. System updates: nightmare. Considering all the new AI related security bugs this can’t be worse.
I sold my Poco F8 Ultra. The software update policy is unacceptable. I’ve had the smartphone for six months and only received one update, version 3.0.8. Update 3.0.301, which was ready for release on April 18th, was released almost six weeks later. It’s a complete joke.
If you care about device security, you should look at iPhones, Pixels, or Samsung phones. Xiaomi simply doesn’t have a good grasp of the issue, given the sheer number of models it releases for the consumer market.
Update to 3.0.301.0 EU today.

EU Version Poco F8 Ultra latest OTA update version number 3.0.7.0.WPMEUXM is causing lag issues returning to home screen randomly when exiting app and returning to the home screen, Sometimes there a delay with a blank screen homepage wallpaper before all the icons refresh and suddenly appear.
This did not happen on 3.0.4.0 at all since I have owned the device since last November.
Please fix or find a way of reverting back to 3.0.4.0 OTA without wiping the phone.
