The new HyperOS 2 update is not necessarily the best. Before updating REDMI Note 12 4G (tapas), read reviews on XDA Developers or the Mi Community forum. If installing full ROM or the new OTA update caused issues, please let us know in the comments and mention the firmware region and version number.
Need to fix information about HyperOS 3. Tapas won’t receive that.
I downloaded HyperOS 1.0.12.0.UMTMIXM for my redmi note 12 global but each time I click on update, my phone will shot down and display “NV data is Corrupted” message. How do Install HyperOS 1.0.12.0.UMTMIXM rom without flashing?

Currently, i am using hyperos 1.0.7.0UMTMIXM. i can not get enough battery backup from these version. now i wanna go to MIUI version. but bootloader is lock. and i can not unlocked bootloader. pls help me. how i unlock the bootloader and flash MIUI version.

Can I flash Indonesia Fastboot-Rom (redmi 12 4g nfc – topaz) on my phone ?
Or would it brick the phone ?
I had Fast-boot Rom of this Indonesia version in mind : MIUI 14.0.7.0.TMGIDXM
You can’t because there are ROMs for different devices. The system will say, that installation of this ROM not allowed.
Oh well, I thought that NFC capability seemed like the only difference, it
might be possible.
