This is a joke. The 13T has security patches from January. Legitimate manufacturers are already offering Android 17 and updates every other cycle. No more Xiaomi.

I would say that it’s a matter of basic politeness to at least give a launch date for the HyperOs 3 for the 13T… waiting longer is then more acceptable. I think Xiaomi has no respect for its customers at all. And indeed, Xiaomi doesn’t know much about software, and there’s no reason why all those customizations should take so long… by the way, updates should also be rolled out much faster and globally at once… while other major players in software can do this.

Jetzt ist es bald Juli, Xiaomi hat es nicht geschafft im Juni (oder noch in den letzten Stunden) ein Update auszurollen. Sehr schade. Klar es muss auch funktionieren wenn es ausgerollt wird und ich warte daher lieber länger, aber insgesamt finde ich es bisher sehr enttäuschend. Ich bin gespannt, wann es soweit sein wird und bleibe guter Dinge.

A quick status update on the Xiaomi 13T HyperOS 3 update.

The Indonesia build (3.0.1.0.WMFIDXM) was rolled back. The Global (3.0.3.0.WMFMIXM), EEA (3.0.1.0.WMFEUXM), Taiwan (3.0.1.0.WMFTWXM), Turkey (3.0.1.0.WMFTRXM) and Russia (3.0.1.0.WMFRUXM) builds are in testing.

Once the engineers finish stability checks and optimization, the update will arrive as an OTA, and links to it will appear on this page. There are no exact dates yet — we’re waiting.

    Thanks for the update Pavel! It’s funny how they are still testing this since they have it rolled out to several other phones, some even also with Mediatek chipsets.. But it is what it is. Kind of disappointed at Xiaomi for these delays though. And @Fikusz; many choose to give their phone a seconds life by passing it on to someone else. If the battery is still ok, there is no reason to replace it sooner if there is also still support..Xiaomi promises updates until end of 2028 for this model.

  Petr, it’s awesome right? Now we just have to wait until Xiaomi remembers that the 13t is also a smartphone they released globally and to approve the update for that as well. Maybe we will be getting an update this year! Fingers crossed Xiaomi delivers on their ‘one uodate every 2 months’ promise after ignoring us for 6 months. But I highly doubt they care.
