Redmi 9A / 9i / 9A Sport is on the Xiaomi EOS (end-of-support) list. This is similar to EOL (End of Life) status and means that the smartphone is no longer supported. It does not receive software updates and new firmware from Xiaomi, and known security vulnerabilities are not fixed.
So Im on redmi 9i version 1.26.0.QCDINXM
When im trying to install this update it is showing that the security patch of the “android 11” is older than the mine current “android 10” and its not letting me install it and im trying to upgrade it to 12.5.9.0.RCDINXM
And i dont want to flash anything (i mean reset) as i got a lot of important stuff on that phone and backing it up would take a day or so.
Please Help if you can.
You can try to flash via MiFlash Pro and Fastboot mode with the option “save user data”. But your bootloader must be unlocked
