REDMI Note 10 5G is in the Xiaomi EOL (end-of-life) list: support has ended, updates are no longer released, it will not receive HyperOS 1.
The new MIUI update is not necessarily the best. Before updating REDMI Note 10 5G (camellian), read reviews on 4PDA or XDA Developers. If installing a Flash File, full ROM, or the new OTA update caused issues, please let us know in the comments and mention the version number.

I get “verification failed” error message while trying to upgrade from 14.0.1.0.TKSEUXM to 14.0.3.0.TKSEUXM.
I tried both recovery and OTA but same issue.
Any idea why that fails?

The exact message I get in french is “Echec de la vérification” / “Impossible de flasher cette ROM”. Which could be translated to something like : “could not verify” / “Cannot upgrade to this ROM”.
Anyway I had a look at all the error cases and I can’t see any that could apply.
Do you have any idea how to get more details ?
Update : I have exactly the same “Verification Failed” issue with a brand new Redmi Note 9T.
I tried to update it from 12.5.7.0 (RJEEUXM) to 14.0.3.0.SJEEUXM (https://miuirom.org/phones/redmi-note-9t#EEA).

My guess is that there is something wrong with Xiaomi server used for the verification step of the upgrade process.
Is there a way to know which server url is used ?
There is no such ways. You can try manual installation via Fastboot.

There is no universal ROM. Yoyu neighbour can have no problems with it, and your update may have a lot of bugs. This is like lottery.

On Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 5G, the OTA firmware update from 12.0.6.0(RKSMIXM) to 12.5.5.0.RKSMIXM keeps failing – after installation and rebooting, it keeps going to recovery menu. Can’t this update be done directly from 12.0.6.0 to 12.5.5.0 ? How should the problem be solved ?
You can install thid update from recovery. Just download needed ROM, merge it to the SD Card and press “Vol+”, “Vol-” and power button. The flashing must be started. Or try to find item in recovery.
