The latest MIUI update doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the best. Read the reviews on the 4PDA or XDA Developers websites before installing new software update to Redmi Note 9T cannong. When will the Global 14 update be released?
I have “Verification Failed” issue with a brand new Redmi Note 9T.
I tried to update it from 12.5.7.0 (RJEEUXM) to 14.0.3.0.SJEEUXM (https://miuirom.org/phones/redmi-note-9t#EEA).
https://bigota.d.miui.com/V14.0.3.0.SJEEUXM/miui_CANNONGEEAGlobal_V14.0.3.0.SJEEUXM_7e3945849e_12.0.zip
I have the same error with another model (redmi not 10 5G) : cf https://miuirom.org/phones/redmi-note-10-5g#comment-8113
My guess is that there is something wrong with Xiaomi server used for the verification step of the upgrade process.
Is there a way to know which server url is used ?
Problem solved : I managed to install the recovery ROM after changing the region to “Germany”. And then changed it back to “France” after upgrade !
There is definitely a weird bug in Xiaomi upgrade process.
