The new HyperOS update is not necessarily the best. Before updating Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G (malachite), read reviews on 4PDA or XDA Developers. If installing a Flash File, full ROM, or the new OTA update caused issues, please let us know in the comments and mention the version number.
Hello, i’m trying to upgrade from 1.0.13.0.UOOEUXM to 2.0.3.0.VOOEUXM and there’s an error that says “Can’t verify update. Couldn’t verify. Android Security Patch version in this package is older than that in the current version.”; i’m trying to install the update via the Choose update package uption in the Updater (OTA finds no updates regardless of the region i choose).
Looks like the HyperOS2 update’s security patch is from March 2025 while my current one is from April 2025…is it still possible to somehow update without unlocking the bootloader (i don’t want to void my warranty) or without doing a factory reset? Or should i wait for a newer HyperOS2 update and then install this one? If i knew that, i wouldn’t manually run the Google Play system update inside the Security status menu…
