HyperOS 3.1 (the OS3.0.300.x branch) is a major feature update within HyperOS 3, not a separate version. Xiaomi doesn’t officially label it as 3.1, but the branch brings visible changes: expanded Super Island, Super OTA, redesigned animations and other improvements.
