Xiaomi HyperOS 2 update list

The Xiaomi HyperOS 2 update status for Xiaomi phones and tablets is tracked on a daily basis. Despite the fact that the new operating system has not yet been officially presented, there are data about the current beta test.

If a certain Xiaomi (Mi) smartphone is not on the list, then there is no information about HyperOS 2 release for it and most likely it will not receive the update. A detailed explanation for some models is given after the table.

Which Xiaomi phones will get HyperOS 2:

• Released – the ROM can be downloaded and installed in this region. If HyperOS 2.0 hasn’t arrived on your device, take a look at why the HyperOS update might not arrive on your Mi.
• Beta – the firmware is in beta testing (the stable version release date is not yet known).
• Date – if a release date is listed, it means there is official information from Xiaomi. The release date may be shifted by a few weeks due to development delays, this is normal.
• n/a – there will be an update for the device, but there is no information about the release date yet (firmware is only released in the regions where the phone or tablet is sold).

To download firmware with the status ‘Release’ in the HyperOS 2 update list, click on the device model link and select the ROM.

The Mi 11 series will not be fully updated. Some models are no longer supported. For example, the Mi 11 Lite 5G and Mi 11 Lite 4G. For the Mi 11X and Mi 11X Pro, HyperOS 1.0 will remain the latest version.

Similarly, the Xiaomi 11i and 11i Hypercharge will remain on the first version of HyperOS. The same goes for the Xiaomi Civi 1 (the Civi 1S phone will be updated).

Only the Xiaomi 12X will be excluded in the Xiaomi 12 series. All other models will be updated.

Xiaomi Pad 5 tablets and older models will also not receive HyperOS 2. The only exception is the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4.

The exact release date of the firmware is a secret of the developers, which they do not share. HyperOS 2.0 development and testing schedules can shift due to the discovery of critical bugs. Therefore, the official update schedule is in the form of quarters and half-years.

It is worth remembering that new firmware is available first for flagship and more recent models. The older the release date of the phone, the later it will be updated. You can check the release date on the model page by clicking on the link next to its name.
