Redmi HyperOS 2 update list

HyperOS 2 update status for Redmi phones and tablets tracked daily. There is also official information about the beta test of the new operating system.

If your Redmi smartphone is not on the device list, then there is no HyperOS 2 release date for it. And it probably won’t get the update. The situation for some devices is described below the text.

Which Redmi phones will get HyperOS 2:

Update status in the table:

• Released – new firmware available to download and install in this region. If HyperOS 2.0 hasn’t arrived on your device, see why the update hasn’t arrived on your Redmi.
• Beta – the ROM is in beta testing (the release date of the stable firmware is unknown).
• Date – the date is given as a quarter or half year based on official Xiaomi data. It can shift slightly, it happens.
• n/a – the update should be released, but the timing is unknown (firmware only appears in regions where the phone or tablet is officially sold).

You can download OTA, Recovery or Fastboot ROM with ‘Released’ status by clicking on the link in the table and selecting the firmware you want.

Development and testing schedules are subject to change due to bugs. Therefore, the official Redmi update schedule is in terms of quarters and semesters. The exact dates are not disclosed by the developers.

Most of the Redmi Note 11 series smartphones will continue to run on the OS available for them. Only a few Chinese models, listed in update list above, will get HyperOS 2.

The Redmi Note 10 series phones, Redmi K40, Redmi A2 and older models will not be updated. We would also like to remind you that the Redmi A3 and A3x run on the original Android One – there is no HyperOS for them.

There are doubts about the Redmi 11 Prime 4G. The Prime 5G version will be updated, but what will happen to the 4G version is still unclear.

But with the Redmi 10 series, everything is clear – only the Redmi 10 5G will be updated. The rest will continue to run on the latest available version of the operating system.

The new firmware will hit the flagships first, followed by the mid-range Redmi devices. Older models will be the last to receive HyperOS 2.0. You can check the release date on the phone or tablet page by clicking on the corresponding link in the device list.
