POCO HyperOS 2 update list

The HyperOS 2 ROM release status for POCO phones and tablets is tracked daily. The official information about beta testing of the new operating system also helps.

If your POCO smartphone is not in the update list, it means that there is no information about HyperOS 2 release for it. Most likely, it will not be updated at all (typical for very cheap models).

Update status in the table:

  • Released – ROM can be downloaded and installed. If your phone has not automatically updated to HyperOS 2.0, see why the update is not coming to POCO.
  • Beta – the development is in beta testing phase. The release date of the stable firmware is unknown.
  • Date – if a date is given, it is taken from the official POCO update schedule. The development schedule can shift due to the discovery of critical bugs, so Xiaomi developers give a quarter or half year.
  • n/a – Firmware should be released, but the timing is unknown (release will take place in regions where POCO phone or tablet is officially sold).

You can download firmware with ‘Released’ status by following the link in the device list. Then select Firmware (Recovery ROM or Fastboot ROM) or OTA Update.

POCO C55, POCO M5, POCO X4 GT and X4 GT Pro 5G, POCO X5 can be updated because they support Android 14. Technically, it is possible to release HyperOS 2.0 for them (or at least for some models).

However, these smartphones were released with MIUI 13 and have received two OS updates each. Perhaps they will continue to run on the latest available OS version. Only time will tell.

Despite the fact that the second version of HyperOS will be released for the POCO M4 5G, the other models in the M4 series will not get the new OS. The maximum version for them is Android 13, which is not supported by HyperOS 2.

POCO device list may seem small, but thes brand generally has far fewer devices than the Redmi and Xiaomi.

There are also a lot of ultra-budget models, which, due to their weak processor and low memory, won’t receive more than 1-2 major OS updates during their support cycle.

And there is also a model like the POCO C61 based on Android One, for which HyperOS does not exist.

According to Xiaomi’s update policy, the modern (and more expensive) POCO devices will receive the firmware first. This is followed by the mid-range phones. The budget models are the last to be updated.

You can also track the HyperOS 2 for Xiaomi and HyperOS 2 for Redmi device update lists.
